DESIGN THINKING FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Distillery was engaged by Capability Group to use a design-led approach to help develop a Leadership Development Programme for Chorus.

The project involved conducting a series of one-on-one interviews with senior leaders in the organisation, and then using the insights from this process to develop and facilitate a series of design thinking workshops. The next step was to use the insights from the workshops to help craft a leadership programme that is specifically tailored to Chorus and environment they operate in. 

The workshops were very well received by senior leaders in Chorus, and the insights from this work were successfully translated into a leadership programme that is currently underway.

 

Participants using a custom-developed trend mapping template to explore how changes in the industry and organisation they operate in might affect their leadership development requirements and hence the design of the leadership programme as a whole.
